What Does a BELA MD+ Treatment Involve?
The BELA MD+ treatment is a sophisticated system that provides a comprehensive approach to addressing a wide range of skin concerns and promoting overall skin health. This relaxing treatment involves multiple steps, delivering a deep-cleansing experience that can rejuvenate your skin.
At Remington Laser, the BELA MD+ treatment follows a meticulously crafted 6-step process for complete results.
The BELA MD+ medical-grade microdermabrasion treatment employs a diamond-tipped tool. This step removes the dead outer layers of your skin, accelerating skin cell regeneration to help diminish the visibility of signs of aging. It also facilitates improved absorption of nourishing ingredients, allowing serums and skincare products to function more efficiently.
In the hydrogen therapy stage, we use the Aqua handpiece to infuse your skin with hydrogen-enriched water. This therapeutic treatment can diminish oxidative stress and inflammation, helping to enhance skin luminosity and hydration.
We use the Aqua Cleansing handpiece to infuse serum or hydrogen water into your skin. The serum selected is formulated to target common skin concerns. The 4 serums available include:
- Clear Skin: helps unclog pores, reduce excess oil, and soothe skin.
- Even Pigment: can diminish photodamage, brighten complexion, & even skin tone.
- Calm & Hydrate: helps replenish the skin barrier, boost hydration, prevent TEWL (dehydration), and enhance skin firmness & elasticity.

The Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber delivers ultrasonic vibrations to remove oil, dirt, and cell debris from your pores. It’s also used for sonophoresis—the combination of ultrasound and topical skin therapy—to help drive active ingredients or serums into your skin.
Facial and neck muscle toning uses the BELA MD+ Y handpiece. The technology uses rotating massage balls and Microcurrent Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation (MENS) to stimulate muscles, tighten the skin, and achieve a lifting effect. The treatment can help improve circulation and rejuvenate skin.
Electroporation uses a medium frequency to generate a gentle electrical field to increase your skin’s permeability. The electrical stimulation helps serum ingredients to penetrate deeper skin layers, enhance blood circulation, and promote lymphatic drainage.
During electroporation, we typically apply the bPURE Hyaluronic Acid serum or other serums to enhance the treatment.
What to Expect After BELA MD+ Treatment
Following your BELA MD+ treatment, you can expect a short recovery time with no downtime.
After microdermabrasion, it’s crucial to keep your skin hydrated, use gentle skincare products, and avoid topical acne treatments for at least a day. Remember to apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily.
While you may notice immediate improvements, additional treatment sessions may be suggested based on the severity of your skin concerns and treatment expectations.
Dermaplaning: An Exfoliating Hair Removal Treatment
Dermaplaning is like giving your skin a fresh start. It uses a surgical blade and a specialized exfoliation technique to gently remove the buildup of dead skin and vellus hair (peach fuzz). Think of it as peeling away the old to reveal radiant, youthful skin underneath.
The main benefits of dermaplaning include:

Before your dermaplaning session, be gentle to your skin. We recommend avoiding retinol-based products for a week before your treatment and skipping any waxing at least 5 days ahead.

Following your dermaplaning treatment, it’s common to experience some redness or slight abrasions within the first 24–72 hours. To help your skin’s recovery and rejuvenation, we recommend the following care regimen:
- Apply soothing moisturizers as needed
- Avoid retinol for 5 days
- Avoid sun exposure for 2–3 days
- Apply an SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
