Platelet-Rich Plasma: A Natural Product for Revitalizing Skin & Hair

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) has received significant attention in therapeutic and cosmetic care. Commonly referred to as the “vampire facial,” PRP is a nonsurgical procedure that can help renew your skin. This innovative treatment uses your own blood platelets, which are prepared in a centrifuge to deliver growth factors in a concentrated form. Upon injection, these concentrated growth factors and proteins (cytokines) can promote healing.

PRP is strategically injected into damaged tissue to help stimulate fresh cell growth, resulting in improved complexion, skin texture, and restoration of lost volume. Moreover, our clinic offers PRP as a hair loss treatment, working to prevent further loss while promoting new growth.

Benefits of PRP

One of the main benefits of PRP is that it’s autologous, meaning it’s derived directly from your own body. This significantly lowers the risk of allergic reactions commonly associated with other medications or cosmetic products.

Plus, there’s minimal downtime, making it an appealing option for those looking for effective and safe solutions with quick recovery periods.

Your Results: Renewed, Healthier Skin

PRP can help deliver transformative results, including:

  • Minimizes hyperpigmentation and melasma
  • Minimizing various scars, including those from acne
  • Enhancing skin texture, tone, & firmness
  • Restoring plumpness to sagging skin
  • Softening deep creases & wrinkles
  • Revealing a refreshed, healthier complexion
  • Promoting collagen production for sustained improvement
  • Improving the appearance of under-eye dark circles

PRP Process: What to Expect

The duration of the PRP procedure usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The treatment process can vary depending on your goals and whether you’re seeking skin rejuvenation, hair loss treatment, or our luxurious Champagne Facial.

During your consultation, we will provide you with a personalized walkthrough and answer any questions. Here are the 3 fundamental steps involved in the PRP procedure.

Step 1: Blood Is Drawn

We will draw a sample of your blood. The quantity of the sample may vary based on the injection site for PRP, usually ranging between 2–4 tablespoons.

Step 2: Blood Preparation

Your blood sample is placed in a centrifuge, which separates it into layers. One of these layers has a high concentration of platelets. The separation process takes about 15 minutes.

Step 3: PRP Is Injected

Platelet-rich plasma is administered through targeted injections. The number of injections varies based on the treatment area.

Champagne Facial: PRP & Beauty Booster Serum

Our Champagne Facial is a skin rejuvenation treatment that combines PRP with Beauty Booster serum. Precise injections are preformed using our V2 9-point needle injector with a combination of targeted manual injections to help treat the face, neck, décolletage, and hands to help stimulate collagen production and inject moisture.

The concentration of growth factors and proteins can continue to stimulate improvements for up to 6 months after your procedure.

The Beauty Booster (Teosyal Redensity 1) is a non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid that includes a patented formula of natural components (amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins) with pharmaceutical-grade hypoallergenic properties. This combination can help stimulate collagen production to hydrate and repair the skin.

To help you achieve your desired results, we recommend a series of treatments. We suggest beginning with 3 sessions, spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

After your initial PRP treatment is complete, we can help you maintain the results by scheduling 1–2 sessions per year.

For patients who want to avoid injectable hyaluronic acid, an alternative option is administering PRP alone, without adding the Beauty Booster. PRP alone contains potent growth factors that can promote cell renewal, addressing concerns like fine lines, crepey skin, and pigmentation.

PRP Hair Loss Treatment

Our hair loss treatment involves injecting PRP into the scalp every 4 weeks. Recent research has indicated that PRP can help trigger and maintain natural hair growth by improving blood supply to the hair follicles. The concentrated platelets in plasma can help prolong the growing phase and promote increased hair thickness.

We can also combine PRP with the Fotona HAIRestart laser treatment every 2 weeks to help enhance effectiveness. This technology uses light energy to gently heat your scalp, targeting inactive hair follicles and enhancing cell regeneration.
