Barb Humphreys is the head nurse and clinical director at Remington Laser Dermatology, working alongside Dr. Todd Remington. She initially worked with Dr. Kent Remington before taking a break in 1989 to have her first child. In 2004, she rejoined the practice with Dr. Todd Remington after spending several years in trauma nursing. Barb is passionate about treating vascular birthmarks and is actively involved with the Vascular Birthmark Foundation (VBF).

In 2023, she was the only nurse on the committee that developed and published the first international consensus guidelines for vascular birthmarks. She also has extensive training and a special interest in treating various types of scars, including burn, traumatic, surgical, self-harm, and acne scars. Outside of work, Barb enjoys time with her blended family of 7 children and 13 grandchildren, with more on the way.
